About NextInHR
NextInHR is a professional platform built exclusively for the global HR community, bringing together HR professionals, organisations, agencies, and consultants in one ecosystem. The platform currently includes the following modules, and NextInHR reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any module at any time:
These Terms apply to all current and future modules. NextInHR is a technology platform only. We do not act as an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. All employment, placement, service, and commission arrangements are made directly and exclusively between Users.
Definitions
Eligibility and account registration
To use NextInHR you must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using online services under applicable law. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account. NextInHR reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account at our reasonable discretion.
Acceptable use
You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful Content.
- Post non-HR roles on HR Jobs, or HR-specific roles on Referral Jobs.
- Submit a candidate referral for yourself via the Referral Jobs module.
- Attempt to game, manipulate, or artificially inflate your Professional Activity Score or Standing.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
- Upload or distribute viruses, malware, or code designed to disrupt or damage the Platform.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
- Use the Platform to poach Users or for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms.
- Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security or access control feature of the Platform.
- Post listings that require candidates to pay any fee to apply or be considered.
NextInHR may remove Content, restrict access, suspend or terminate accounts, and take any further action it considers appropriate in response to a breach of these Terms.
HR Jobs
HR Jobs is a public job board exclusively for HR-specific roles. Job Owners represent and warrant that all listings describe genuine vacancies, are accurate, and comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws. NextInHR is not a party to any employment relationship, offer, or contract arising from HR Jobs. NextInHR reserves the right to remove or place on Hold by Reviewer any listing that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
AI-powered matching
NextInHR uses automated matching technology to calculate a compatibility score between candidate profiles and job requirements, based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and role criteria set by the Job Owner. By using HR Jobs, both Job Owners and candidates acknowledge that:
- Matching scores are advisory only and do not constitute a hiring recommendation, guarantee of suitability, or an automated hiring decision.
- All decisions to progress, shortlist, reject, or hire a candidate are made by the Job Owner or their designated human reviewer. The AI score is one input among others and may be disregarded.
- Candidates have the right to request human review of any matching outcome and to contest an assessment by contacting [email protected].
- NextInHR does not guarantee the accuracy of matching scores and accepts no liability for hiring decisions made in reliance on them.
Referral Jobs
Referral Jobs is a private, post-login network for non-HR roles. Access requires a completed HR Profile. As a Referring Partner, you represent and warrant that you have a genuine prior relationship with any candidate you refer and have obtained their explicit, informed consent to submit their personal data to the relevant Job Owner via the Platform.
All Referral Commission arrangements are agreed and transacted directly and exclusively between the Job Owner and the Referring Partner. NextInHR does not guarantee, process, hold, or enforce any Referral Commission payment and is not liable for any failure to pay. The Platform's commission recording tool (Pending → Paid → Confirmed) is a convenience feature only and does not constitute NextInHR's involvement in the payment. NextInHR does not adjudicate commission disputes between Users.
Job Owners warrant that the stated Referral Commission is a fixed flat amount in a specified currency and that they will not circumvent the commission by engaging a referred candidate directly outside the Platform.
Candidate data submitted via Referral Jobs is also processed by NextInHR's automated matching technology on the same terms described in Section 5. The same human-decision requirement applies: all placement decisions rest with the Job Owner. Job Owners receiving candidate data via this module must retain it only for as long as necessary for the relevant recruitment process and must comply with all applicable data protection laws in respect of that data.
Gigs
Gigs is a freelance marketplace where HR professionals offer services directly to buyers. Gig Providers warrant that listings are accurate, that they hold all necessary qualifications and authorisations, and that they will deliver services with reasonable skill and care. Gig Providers are solely responsible for service quality and applicable tax compliance. Any contract is formed directly between the Gig Provider and the Gig Buyer — NextInHR is not a party and makes no guarantee of quality or outcome. NextInHR may, at its sole discretion, facilitate communication where a dispute is raised, but has no obligation to do so.
Resources and learning materials
NextInHR provides HR resources, guides, and templates for general professional and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Resources module constitutes legal, HR, tax, or professional advice. NextInHR does not warrant the completeness or suitability of any resource for any specific purpose. Resources are relied upon at the User's own discretion. NextInHR reserves the right to add, update, or remove any resource at any time without notice.
Events
NextInHR lists HR events that may include platform-hosted and third-party events. For third-party events, NextInHR acts as a listing service only and is not the event organiser. NextInHR is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party event listings or for any changes, cancellations, or issues arising from third-party events. Separate event-specific terms may apply to platform-hosted events and will be communicated at the time of registration.
Certifications
NextInHR offers HR certifications that, upon successful completion, are recognised as verified credentials within the Platform. These certifications are professional development tools. Unless expressly stated, they do not constitute accredited academic qualifications, professional licences, or regulatory endorsements. NextInHR reserves the right to modify certification content, requirements, or availability at any time.
Agency Marketplace and HR Tech Solution Marketplace
The Agency Marketplace and HR Tech Solution Marketplace are listing and discovery services. NextInHR does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any agency or technology solution listed. Any engagement or commercial arrangement entered into as a result of these marketplaces is solely between the buyer and the listed party. NextInHR is not a party to, and accepts no liability in connection with, any such arrangement. Users engage with listed parties entirely at their own risk.
Professional Recognition System
NextInHR operates a Professional Recognition System (PRS) awarding Users a Professional Activity Score that determines their Standing across six tiers: Practitioner, Established, Specialist, Recognised, Distinguished, and Fellow. By participating in the PRS you agree that:
- Attempting to game or artificially inflate your Activity Score is a material breach of these Terms.
- NextInHR may adjust or remove any Score or credential obtained in breach of these Terms or our policies.
- PRS credentials do not constitute professional qualifications or regulatory endorsements outside the Platform.
- The PRS — including tiers, thresholds, and benefits — may be modified at any time with reasonable notice for material changes.
- Monthly Recognition awards are subject to minimum activity thresholds and may be suppressed at NextInHR's discretion.
- Recognition visibility is opt-in only.
User content
You retain ownership of Content you submit. By submitting Content, you grant NextInHR a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, host, store, display, and distribute it to operate and promote the Platform. All Content must be accurate, lawful, and must not infringe third-party rights or contain malicious code.
NextInHR operates a post-publication moderation model. A Reviewer may apply Hold by Reviewer status or permanently reject Content found to breach these Terms. NextInHR does not pre-screen Content and is not responsible for the accuracy or legality of Content published by other Users. To report Content you believe violates these Terms, contact [email protected].
Intellectual property
The Platform and all its original content, features, code, design, logos, trademarks, and branding are the exclusive property of NextInHR and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or interest in NextInHR's intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
NextInHR grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for its intended professional purposes only. This licence does not permit commercial exploitation, systematic data extraction, or sublicensing. Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by NextInHR freely without attribution or compensation.
Data protection and privacy
NextInHR is committed to protecting your personal data. Our Privacy Policy (Version 3.0) explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use the Platform and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Your data rights
Regardless of your location, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. You do not need a registered account to exercise these rights. All requests are handled via our Data Request form at nextinhr.com/data-request, or by emailing [email protected]. We verify your identity by email and respond within 48 Hours.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Job application and candidate referral data is retained for up to 24 months. Full retention periods are set out in Section 11 of our Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time using the Data Request form.
Automated matching — your rights
NextInHR uses automated matching technology to generate candidate compatibility scores. These scores do not constitute automated decisions — all hiring and placement decisions are made by humans. Candidates have the right to contest any matching outcome and to request human review by contacting [email protected].
Candidate data — Referring Partners
When submitting a candidate referral, you must have the candidate's explicit, informed consent to share their personal data with the Job Owner via the Platform. You are solely responsible for compliance with applicable data protection law in connection with any candidate data you handle and submit. You indemnify NextInHR against any claim arising from your failure to obtain valid consent.
Candidate data — Job Owners
When you receive candidate personal data through the Platform you act as a data controller in respect of that data. You must process it only to evaluate the candidate for the relevant role, retain it only as long as necessary for that purpose (and no longer than 24 months unless there is a specific legal ground), and comply with all applicable data protection laws. If a candidate submits a deletion request to NextInHR that relates to data you hold independently, NextInHR will notify you and you are responsible for honouring that request in your own systems.
Disclaimers and warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. NextInHR does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free. NextInHR does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any Content submitted by Users, including job listings, CVs, Gig descriptions, event details, resource materials, agency listings, or HR tech solution descriptions. All such Content is relied upon at the User's own risk.
AI-powered features are indicative only and do not constitute professional advice or guarantees of outcome. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, HR, employment, tax, or financial advice. Users should seek independent professional advice before making decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextInHR shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or any of its modules. This includes, without limitation:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss, including loss of data, business opportunity, revenue, or reputation.
- Actions or omissions of any other User on any module of the Platform.
- Reliance on any Content, AI-generated scores, resource, event listing, agency listing, or HR tech solution listed on the Platform.
- Any failure of a Job Owner to pay a Referral Commission or fulfil any arrangement made through the Platform.
- Disputes between Users arising from any module of the Platform.
- Interruption, suspension, or discontinuation of any feature or module.
- Acts or omissions of any third-party service provider used by NextInHR.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NextInHR, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of the Platform or any of its modules.
- Any Content you submit to or publish on the Platform.
- Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
- Any Referral Commission dispute or claim arising from a referral you submitted or a role you posted.
- Any Gig, agency, or HR tech engagement, transaction, or dispute arising from listings you created or engaged with.
- Any infringement of the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
- Any claim arising from candidate data you submitted without valid consent.
Third-party services and links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and uses third-party technology providers including email delivery, analytics, and AI/machine learning services (operated server-side only). NextInHR does not endorse or accept responsibility for any third-party service or website. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and governed by that party's own terms. NextInHR selects technology providers with appropriate data protection and security standards but accepts no liability for their acts or omissions.
Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time using the account deletion feature in your account settings, or by submitting a deletion request via our Data Request form. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy — deletion or anonymisation is completed within 48 Hours of a confirmed request.
NextInHR may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, submitted false information, attempted to manipulate the Platform or other Users, or pose a risk to the integrity, security, or reputation of the platform or its community. Serious breaches may result in immediate termination without notice.
Upon termination, your access ceases immediately, all active listings and referrals are withdrawn, and PRS credentials are removed from public display. Provisions that by their nature survive termination — including Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 22 — shall continue in force.
Equal opportunities and anti-discrimination
NextInHR is committed to fair and inclusive practices. All Users must comply with applicable employment equality and anti-discrimination laws. You must not post listings or submit Content that discriminates on any protected characteristic, or that is hateful, harassing, or offensive in any form. NextInHR reserves the right to remove any such Content and take action — including account suspension or termination — against the responsible User.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NextInHR is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to resolve any dispute informally. We will endeavour to respond within 14 business days. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rights, including the right to litigate in your local courts, those rights are not affected by these Terms.
General provisions
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any module-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and NextInHR regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Modifications
NextInHR may modify the Platform, any module, or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by email or in-platform notification. Your continued use after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, without affecting the remaining provisions. No failure by NextInHR to exercise a right constitutes a waiver of that right.
Assignment
NextInHR may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
Force majeure
NextInHR is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic, war, civil unrest, government action, power failures, or internet outages.
No partnership or agency
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and NextInHR.
